GRID STEP. You can print out the base construction lines and start drawing on tracing paper or you can draw the grid layout yourself using the following steps. Draw a square which will act as the frame of the giraffe portrait.
STEP 1. Outline the general shape of the head. Sketch the horns, the mouth and the neck of the giraffe.
STEP 2. Connect the horns to the head. Add details to the eyes. Draw the nose.
STEP 3. Draw ears. Detail the eyes by adding eyelashes. Add spots to the neck of the giraffe.
STEP 4. Detail the head by adding more spots. Draw inner lines in the ears.
STEP 5. Work on the whole figure of the giraffe, adding more details to the eyes, the ears and the face.
STEP 6. Color spots of the giraffe. Erase all guidelines.
