GRID STEP. You can print out the base construction lines and start drawing on tracing paper or you can draw the grid layout yourself using the following steps.
• Locate the head in advance and draw its approximate size using an ovals. • Draw 1 horizontal line above the head. Above it, draw 1 line equal to the height of the head. • Draw 1 horizontal line under the head. Below it, add 4 more lines equal to the height of the head. • On the left and right sides of the head, draw a vertical line. Draw from them to the sides: -on the left , 1 line equal to the width of the head; -on the right, 3 lines equal to the width of the head plus 1 line equal to 1/3 the width of the head
